Effects of this medicine
This shows anti-cholinergic action by inhibiting the intracerebral transmitter (acetylcholine) to improve trembling of the hands/fingers, stiffness or sluggish movement of the muscle.
Usually, used for treatment of parkinsonism/dyskinesia (except for tardive dyskinesia)/akathisia related to use of psychotropics, idiopathic parkinsonism and other parkinsonisms (encephalitogenic/arteriosclerotic parkinsonism).

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you have glaucoma or myasthenia.

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

General dosage regimen: For treatment of parkinsonism, dyskinesia or akathisia caused by psychotropics, for adults, take 1-5 tablets (2-10 mg of the active ingredient) a day in three to four divided doses.
For treatment of idiopathic parkinsonism or other parkinsonisms, for adults, start taking 0.5 tablets (1 mg of the active ingredient) on Day 1. Take 1 tablet (2 mg) on Day 2 and then increase 1 tablet (2 mg) per day. Continue taking this medicine at the maintained dose of 3-5 tablets (6-10 mg) in three to four divided doses in a day.
The dosage should be adjusted according to your disease, age and symptoms in either case. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you took too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Do not stop taking this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

This medicine may cause drowsiness, vision disturbed, and lack of attention, concentration and reflex action ability. Do not operate dangerous machinery such as driving a car or work at heights while taking this medicine.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: excitement, drowsiness, malaise, nausea, dry mouth, constipation, difficulty with urination, rash, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

fever (due to discontinuation, etc.), akinetic mutism (immobility), dysphagia (impossible to swallow)[malignant syndrome]

impaired mind, audio-visual experience of something that does not exist, slight consciousness disorder[mental confusion, hallucination, delirium]

severe eye pain, headache, sudden decline in visual acuity[narrow-angle glaucoma]
