Effects of this medicine
This medicine suppresses ectopic automaticity and impulse conduction of cardiac muscle to decrease irritability, and consequently controls arrhythmia attribute to impulse formation disorder of myocardial cells.
It is usually used in the treatment and prevention of various arrhythmias.

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you are a patient with impulse conduction disorder (atrioventricular block, sinoatrial block, bundle branch block, etc.), congestive heart failure, or myasthenia gravis.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

General dosage regimen: For adults, take 2 to 4 tablets (0.25-0.5 g of the active ingredient) at a time, at intervals of 3 to 6 hours. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

Take a dose as soon as possible when you remember that you missed a dose. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you took too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: nausea, vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea, headache, insomnia, visual hallucination, auditory hallucination, fever, rash, anemia, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

palpitation, chest pain, consciousness disturbance [ventricular tachycardia, ventricular flutter, ventricular fibrillation]

breathing difficulty, sweating, edema [heart failure]

fever, joint pain, malaise [SLE-like symptoms]

fever, throat pain, muscular pain [agranulocytosis]

Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture (the medicine has hygroscopic nature).
