Effects of this medicine
This medicine inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, thus exerting anti-bacterial effects of inhibiting bacterial proliferation.
It is a cephem antibiotic agent for the treatment of infections.
It is usually used for the treatment of a wide range of infections such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear and nose infections, or urinary tract infections.

General dosage regimen: For adults, take 1 capsule (100mg of the active ingredient [potency]) at a time, three times daily. The dosage may be adjusted depending on your disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

If you realize that you have missed a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take double doses to make up for the missed dose.

If you took too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Reddish stools may occur when using concomitant iron-added products, such as powder formula or enteral nutrients.

Reddish urine may occur.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: rash, urticaria, itch, fever, oedema, erythema, diarrhea, abdominal pain, stomach discomfort, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

fever, blisters, red rash [mucocutaneous-ocular syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis]

fever, dot haemorrhage, anemic condition [pancytopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia]

fever, dry cough, difficulty with breathing [interstitial pneumonia, pulmonary infiltration with eosinophilia (PIE) syndrome]

general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eye [fulminant hepatitis, hepatic function disorder, jaundice]
