How does it work?
The three active ingredients in this preparation, menthol, camphor and pine needle oil, have been used traditionally as inhalations for their decongestant effect. Menthol has mild local anaesthetic, cooling and decongestant properties and is often included in cough and cold remedies to act as a decongestant. It is not fully understood how it produces this effect.This preparation is used to relieve nasal congestion in conditions such as colds, flu and sinus infections.
