Indications |
Treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) & indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) that has progressed during or w/in 6 mth of treatment w/ rituximab or rituximab-containing regimen.

Dosage |
CLL 100 mg/m2 IV over 30 min on days 1 & 2 of a 28-day cycle, up to 6 cycles. NHL 120 mg/m2 IV over 60 min on days 1 & 2 of a 21-day cycle, up to 8 cycles.

Contraindications |
Hypersensitivity to mannitol.

Special Precautions |
Myelosuppression. Monitor for signs of infection & treat promptly. Infusion reactions & anaphylaxis. Tumor lysis syndrome. Skin reactions. Pre-malignant & malignant diseases. Extravasation. Mild to moderate renal impairment. Mild hepatic impairment. Not to be used in patients w/ CrCl <40 mL/min or those w/ moderate or severe hepatic impairment. Childn. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Pyrexia, nausea, vomiting, asthenia, fatigue, diarrhea, malaise and weakness; dry mouth; somnolence; cough; constipation; headache; mucosal inflammation & stomatitis; febrile neutropenia, pneumonia, hypokalemia & dehydration. Acute renal failure, cardiac failure, hypersensitivity, skin reactions, pulmonary fibrosis, myelodysplastic syndrome.

CYP1A2 inhibitors (eg fluvoxamine, ciprofloxacin) & inducers (eg omeprazole, smoking).
