Dosage Recommended initial dose:1-2 mcg 3 times wkly, approx every other day (range 0.5-4 mcg). Dose may be increased by 0.5-1 mcg at 2-4 wk intervals.

Adverse Drug Reactions Early: Weakness, headache, somnolence; nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, constipation; muscle pain, bone pain & metallic taste. Late: Polyuria, polydipsia, anorexia, wt loss, nocturia.
