Indications |
Reduction of IOP in patients w/ open-angle glaucoma or ocular HTN for whom monotherapy is insufficient. |
Dosage |
Adult & elderly 1 drop bds. |
Contraindications |
Bronchial asthma, severe COPD; sinus bradycardia, 2nd or 3rd degree AV block, overt cardiac failure, or cardiogenic shock; severe allergic rhinitis & bronchial hyperreactivity; hyperchloraemic acidosis; & severe renal impairment. Childn <18 yr. |
Special Precautions |
Monitor pulse rates & watch for signs of cardiac failure in patients w/ history of severe cardiac disease. Hypoglycaemia. Labile insulin-dependent diabetes. Hyperthyroidism. Narrow-angle glaucoma. Careful monitoring of patients w/ compromised corneas. Frequent or prolonged use. Remove contact lenses prior to application; reinsert after 15 min. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation |
Adverse Drug Reactions |
Dysguesia, blurred vision, eye pain & irritation, foreign body sensation in the eye.

Ketoconazole, itraconazole, clotrimazole, ritonavir, troleandomycin, oral Ca-channel blockers, guanethidine, β-blockers, antiarrhythmics, digitalis glycosides, parasympathomimetics, quinidine, cimetidine.
