Indications |
Maintenance treatment of severe COPD associated w/ chronic bronchitis in adult patients w/ a history of frequent exacerbations as add on treatment to bronchodilator treatment.

Dosage |
1 tab once daily.

Contraindications |
Moderate or severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh B or C).

Special Precautions |
Decreased body wt. Monitor body wt regularly. Patients w/ severe immunological diseases, severe acute infectious diseases, cancers (except basal cell carcinoma), or patients in immunosuppressants, CHF (NYHA grades III & IV). History or existing psychiatric symptoms eg mood changes or suicidal ideation. Persistent intolerability; concomitant treatment w/ theophylline. Galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Pregnancy (including women of childbearing potential) & lactation.

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Decreased wt & appetite, insomnia, headache, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain.
