Dosage	Max vildagliptin daily dose: 100 mg. *Inadequately controlled on vildagliptin monotherapy* Initially 50 mg/500 mg bd. *Inadequately controlled on metformin HCl monotherapy* Initially 50 mg/500 mg, 50 mg/850 mg or 50 mg/1,000 mg once or bd. *Switching from combination therapy of vildagliptin plus metformin HCl, as separate tab* Based from the dose of vildagliptin or metformin already being taken. Administration	Should be taken with food (Take w/ or immediately after meals to reduce GI discomfort.).
