75 mg once daily.

Special Precautions |
Bleeding disorders or blood clotting problems. Risk of increased bleeding from other pathological conditions eg vision impairment. Recent serious injury & surgery (including dental surgery). Liver disease.Pregnancy.

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Haematemesis, hemoptysis, haematuria, subconjunctival haemorrhage. Unusual heavy bleeding or oozing from cuts or wounds. Numbness (paralysis), lightheadedness, blurred vision, dysarthria, confusion or hallucination. Tightness of the chest, wheezing, coughing or dyspnoea; jaundice, oedema.

Drug Interactions |
Warfarin, aspirin, heparin, NSAIDs, antiulcerants, phenytoin, tamoxifen, tolbutamide, fluvastatin.

Pregnancy Category (US FDA) |
Category B: Either animal-reproduction studies have not demonstrated a foetal risk but there are no controlled studies in pregnant women or animal-reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect (other than a decrease in fertility) that was not confirmed in controlled studies in women in the 1st trimester (and there is no evidence of a risk in later trimesters). |
