PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A.22.1.2 Vitamins for prenatal use.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Vitamins and minerals are essential for the maintenance of normal metabolic functions of the body. They are not, usually, synthesized in the body and therefore must be furnished from exogenous sources.
INDICATIONS:
A dietary supplement where a deficiency of the vitamins and minerals contained in the product exists.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
WARNING:
Not to be used by patients who are allergic to iodine.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
One capsule daily or as prescribed by a physician.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
The fat-soluble vitamins, particularly vitamin D, are toxic only if administered in quantities greatly in excess of the normal requirements over a long period of time. In cases of suspected hypervitaminosis or allergic reactions withdrawal of the product is indicated and where necessary, treatment in accordance with established medical procedures should be instituted.
IDENTIFICATION:
A capsule with blue body and cap imprinted “VINATAL”on both parts, containing a light brown to beige colour powder.
PRESENTATION:
Containers of 30 and 100 capsules.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store in a cool (below 25°C), dry place.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
