COMPOSITION:
Zinc sulfate 1,25mg,
Antazoline phosphate 5,0mg,
Naphazoline hydrochloride 0,5mg per mL,
Preserved with benzethonium chloride 0,01%.
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A.15.4 Ophthalmic preparations, other.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
A combination of a vasoconstrictor and an antihistamine for the relief of ocular symptoms due to allergy and inflammation of a non-infectious origin. Zinc sulfate is incorporated in the formulation as a mild astringent.
INDICATIONS:
Symptomatic relief to tearing, photophobia, redness, swelling, blepharospasm and itching due to allergies. Also, it may be used to control hyperemia of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva resulting from bacterial, allergic and vernal conjunctivitis.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Narrow angle glaucoma.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Instil 2drops in the eye(s) every 3to 4hours, or as prescribed.
Note: Keep container tightly closed.
Do not touch dropper tip to any surface since this may contaminate the solution.
SIDE EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Prolonged use of a decongestant may result in rebound congestion.
Discontinue use when it is no longer needed to control symptoms. If symptoms persist or increase, discontinue use and consult a physician.
In rare instances individual idiosyncrasies are manifested. These appear as very mild stinging and inflammation following instillation.
Should sensitivity or other untoward reactions occur, discontinue medication. Do not use solution if discoloured.
