COMPOSITION:
Each 10g contains:
Salicylic Acid 5g
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A.13.8 - Keratolytic
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Salicylic Acid has keratolytic properties. Externally it produces slow and painless destruction of the epithelium.
INDICATIONS:
Piccadilly Foot Ointment is indicated for the removal of hard skin, corns and callouses.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Known hypersensitivity to Salicylic Acid. Avoid applying to normal surrounding skin.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Using a cotton bud or some other applicator, rub a small amount of ointment into the area in the morning and at night. After a week of treatment, soak the area in hot water. If Piccadilly Ointment is applied by hand, wash immediately with soap and water as Salicylic Acid is a mild irritant and continuous application to the skin may cause dermatitis.
SIDE EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Sensitivity to Salicylic Acid may result in dermatitis. Care should be taken to protect the skin surrounding the affected area.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
Accidental ingestion may give rise to Salicylate poisoning.
Treatment is supportive and symptomatic.

A rough textured cream to yellow coloured ointment.

25 mL glass jar with screw cap.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store below 30°C out of direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
