PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A.5.7.2 Anti-emetics and antivertigo preparations.
INDICATIONS:
Symptomatic relief of nausea in motion sickness and in early pregnancy.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
EMEX SYRUP must not be given to patients suffering from methyl alcohol poisoning, renal failure, diabetes and hereditary fructose intolerance.
WARNINGS:
EMEX SYRUP must not be taken for more than 1 hour (5 doses) without consulting a physician. If nausea continues or recurs frequently, consult a physician promptly since this may be a sign of a serious condition.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Do not dilute the dosage since the optimal pH for functioning will be destroyed.
Motion sickness (car, air etc.) Adults: Two to four medicine measures (10 - 20mL) before starting trip, and then as necessary.
Morning sickness: Two to four medicine measures (10 - 20mL) if and when necessary.
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
EMEX produces no side-effects.
Special precautions: Fluids must not be taken immediately prior to or for at least 15 minutes after a dosage of EMEX because of the diluting effects.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
This is a safe and non-toxic medication.

A clear, colourless spearmint flavoured syrup.
PRESENTATION:
200mL Amber glass bottles.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Keep cool and protect from light. Store in a cupboard below 25°C.
