PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION
TEARS PLUS combines the effects of the polymers polyvinyl alcohol and povidone in a non-buffered, isotonic solution to produce an artificial tear preparation.
INDICATIONS
TEARS PLUS provides relief to dry eye sufferers by moisturizing and soothing irritated eyes. It also relieves discomfort and irritation caused by hard contact lens wear.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Not for use with soft contact lenses. Hypersensitivity to one or more of the components of this preparation.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
One drop in the eye as needed or directed.
How to apply eye drops:

Wash your hands. |

Stand in front of a mirror, and with your forefinger, gently pull the lower eyelid down to form a small pocket for the eye drops. |

Tilt the head back and look up. |

Holding the dispenser between thumb and forefinger, rest your hand against the nose and gently squeeze the recommended number of drops into the pocket formed. Do not touch the dropper tip to hands, eye or any surface, since this may contaminate the solution. |

Close the eye and move the eyeball from side to side. |

F |
Wipe off any excess medication from around eyes. Close the dispenser tightly and wash the hands again. |
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
There are no known side effects.
Special Precautions :
Do not touch dropper tip to any surface since this may contaminate the solution. If irritation persists for more than 24hours or increases, discontinue use and consult an eye specialist.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT
There are no known symptoms of overdosage.

PRESENTATION
TEARS PLUS Sterile Ophthalmic Solution is supplied in sterile plastic dropper bottles containing 15mL solution.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Store below 25°C
Do not use more than 30days after opening.
