Generic Name and Formulations:
Prednisolone acetate 0.12%; oph. susp; contains benzalkonium chloride, sulfites.

Company:
Allergan 

Indications for PRED MILD:

Ocular inflammation.

Adult:

Initially 2 drops every hr for 24–48 hrs. Then prolong dosing interval to 1–2 drops 2–4 times daily.

Children:

Not recommended.

Pharmacological Class:

Steroid.

Contraindications:

Fungal, mycobacterial, viral (except herpes zoster) or untreated bacterial infections.

Warnings/Precautions:

Corneal or scleral thinning. Glaucoma. Myopia. Diabetes. Asthma. Monitor for secondary infections and intraocular pressure in prolonged use. Avoid abrupt cessation. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers.

Adverse Reactions:

May mask or exacerbate infections. Increased intraocular pressure, cataracts, corneal perforations, optic nerve damage.

How Supplied:

Mild—5mL, 10mL; Forte—5mL, 10mL, 15mL
